How do I change the device settings?

We recommend using the PMX Setup Tool for configuring your device. It offers the fastest and most intuitive way to set up and adjust your PMX TCR.

Simply connect the device to your laptop via USB and configure it directly in the tool. You can adjust speed settings, select predefined applications, fine-tune filters using real measurements, and monitor the counters live.

Where can I find the LoRaWAN® keys?

You find the LoRaWAN® Keys Slip on the inside of the box. This slip is printed out during the production of the device and contains device-specific data.


How can I ensure proper device installation and configuration?

  • Follow PMX installation guidelines.
  • Use the PMX Setup Tool during and after installation.
  • Read and apply the official manuals provided by PMX Systems.


How long does AI AutoSens take to calibrate after startup?

The AI AutoSens feature requires approximately 3 minutes to adjust sensitivity levels after power-up.


What are Confirmed Uplinks, and why are they important?

Confirmed Uplinks ensure that the device receives an acknowledgment from the LoRaWAN network for each transmitted data packet. Without them, data loss may occur due to network congestion, especially in cities.


How can I enable Confirmed Uplinks?

Confirmed Uplinks can be enabled through the device configuration settings. It is strongly recommended in areas with high LoRaWAN sensor density.
