Become a Solution Partner


Our sales strategy is based on cooperation with Solution Partners (SP), who combine our sensors with software and services and sell them as a solution under their own name. 

Solution Partners benefit from direct access to our technology, marketing material and attractive conditions. They represent PMX Systems in a specific region, for which they also receive leads and are responsible for looking after their customers (consulting and support).

Benefits for Solution Partners

Attractive purchase prices

Solution Partners benefit from attractive purchasing conditions and clear price structures. A new discount level is determined each year, which is influenced by factors such as turnover and technical expertise (few support queries). The purchase prices are displayed directly to Solution Partners in the B2B shop alongside stock levels and product availability.

Product training

As a Solution Partner, you have access to online training courses. Our training courses provide you with the skills you need to sell our devices successfully.

Partner Portal and B2B-Shop

The PMX partner portal gives you access to current stock levels, direct ordering options in the partner portal, access to product images and texts, free firmware updates and training material.

Project protection

We take the acquisition efforts of our solution partners into account by offering the option of applying for project protection for larger projects or tenders.

Marketing

If you wish, you can be published on our partner page with a short text describing your company and the solutions you offer. We also record success stories and disseminate them via our online channels. A partnership with PMX Systems therefore increases your reach and the chance that customers will find you as a solution provider.

Leads

PMX Systems refers customer enquiries (leads) directly to Solution Partners in the relevant region, as PMX itself does not supply end customers

Solution Partner Profile

PMX Systems AG places a number of requirements on its future solution partners to ensure that the partnership is successful and productive for both sides.

Technical Knowledge

The company has personnel with technical experience in IoT, sensor technology, traffic measurement and wireless data transmission with LoRaWAN. The PMX sensors are relatively complex radar systems that need to be installed in a suitable location and configured correctly. PMX Systems offers training sessions for Solution Partner personnel, for which a basic technical understanding is required.

Business Case

The solution partner sees potential to profitably integrate the PMX sensors into its own solutions and/or sell them with additional services in its region.

Sales expertise

As a Solution Partner, you should have strong sales skills, motivated sales teams and a solid sales structure with qualified employees.

Customer care

The Solution Partner is able to provide direct customer support from installation to commissioning of the PMX sensors in his region.

As a pure sensor manufacturer, PMX cannot offer end customer or even on-site service.

We get in touch

PMX Systems will contact you to clarify all the details and then send you the contract documents by email.

Sign contract

The contract documents are signed and sent to PMX in duplicate. (Unfortunately by post for legal reasons).

B2B-Shop, Portal

Get access to the B2B shop with purchase prices, availability, accessories and spare parts.

Find firmware updates, images, text, access to 3rd level support and training documents in the Partner Portal.

Partner Site

On our website, the company can present itself with a short text and thus achieve a greater reach. We can also publicise solutions from our partners on the website on request.

Technical training

The introductory training sessions consist of 3 units:

  • Product Overview and Applications
  • Installation and Setup
  • Software Integration  

Each unit ends with a short online test. Participants will receive a certificate afterwards.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the onboarding process.

Solution partners are usually IoT solution providers, providers of industry software and operators of IoT platforms with strong customer service.

Solution partners must be able to support customers in their sales region themselves (1st and 2nd level support).

Unfortunately, we cannot supply pure trading companies and online shops without a technical service department.

What does a contract look like?

The contract consists of a Main contract (Agreement), which governs the business relationship between the two parties and two annexes.

  • Appendix A Appendix A defines the operating regions of a Solution Partner
  • Appendix B Appendix B defines the individual purchasing conditions

Solution Partners receive the current price list with the recommended prices together with the draft contract.

We try to keep the price list stable throughout the year. We are usually able to do this because CHF is generally very stable.

New price lists are published in the Partner Portal every December and are then valid again for one year.

Our company is based in Switzerland and has to pay suppliers, rent and sallaries in CHF. Our internal price calculation is therefore also carried out in CHF.

However, we can provide temporary offers (max. 3 months) in foreign currencies such as USD or EUR.

Solution Partners (SP) have various options for achieving a greater discount and thus better purchasing conditions.

Volume Discounts (VD)

The volume discounts for the following financial year are applied as an incentive for the purchasing volume achieved by an SP in the previous year. 

Service Quality Discount (SQD)

We reward SP's efforts to understand and support our devices as well as possible so that we can use our time to develop new, innovative products. The less support per device PMX Systems receives, the higher the additional discount for good customer care.

Price scales

Larger orders allow us to work more efficiently. We pass on these savings.


VD + SQD are cumulative and apply for one year.

Price scales apply per call-off. It is generally worth rounding up orders to the next scale value.
