The PCR2 people counters from PMX Systems use radar to offer a camera-free solution. Thanks to LoRaWAN® technology, the sensor data is transmitted reliably at regular intervals. The sensors can count people in both directions, i.e. from left to right and vice versa.
The radar is weatherproof and enables the counting of pedestrians and cyclists on urban streets, in parks, on hiking trails and in other outdoor locations. With a range of up to 10 m, the sensor can monitor wide paths and works in real time to detect direction of movement and speed. Installation on a house wall or pillar is quick and easy, and the sensor detects the number of people crossing the counting line as well as the number of people in the counting zone under different environmental conditions.
