PMX Systems AG from St.Gallen has taken over the radar sensor technology division of Parametric GmbH from Wildeswil BE as of 1 January 2024.
Continuity and new developments
The popular PCR2 radar people counters and the TCR traffic counters with LoRaWAN® remain in the range and will continue to be supported.
PMX Systems works with AIMotroniX AG, a leading company in the field of model-based control technology. PMX relies on artificial intelligence (AI) and model-based system engineering (digital twins) to raise the counting accuracy of radar sensors to a new level. Both new and existing products are continuously equipped with new software.
New sales structure

PMX Systems' products are now sold exclusively via system integrators. They are able to resell the sensors as an integral part of their own software and service offerings. This allows customers to benefit from an integrated solution that fulfils all the requirements of their applications.
