Six months of hard work have paid off. After intensive testing in the laboratory, on the road, on cycle paths, in the forest, in the rain and during Swisscom LPN connection tests (LoRaWAN) in Appenzellerland, as well as weeks of documentation work, the first software product from PMX Systems AG is now on the market.
Our advanced model-based radar signalling algorithm (MBR) sets new standards in accuracy and efficiency for traffic and pedestrian flow applications. Key features include a high measurement accuracy of up to 95%, enabling precise traffic and pedestrian flow analyses. Installation of the firmware is straightforward and takes place in just two steps, making the system quickly ready for use. Thanks to the object categorisation capability, objects up to 30 metres long can be detected and tracked in four different groups.
Another advantage is the energy-efficient communication via the LoRaWAN 1.1 standard, which was specially developed for long-distance communication of small amounts of data with low power consumption. The firmware also supports integration with IoT platforms and offers free updates, ensuring that the systems are always up to date.
The new PMX TCR is being launched at the same time as the firmware. This comes in a new design, is supplied with pre-installed firmware and is ready for immediate use.
Firmware licences are available for existing TCR devices of generations 1 and 2, which enable retrofitting and thus an improvement in service life and performance. Parametric customers who have purchased a TCR GEN2 after 1.1.2022 will receive a free PRO licence.
